Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with team members, you will contribute to enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Assist customers and communicate effectively with the store management team.
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and other issues.
  • Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash policies and company procedures.
  • Follow company policies to maintain document security and confidentiality.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and operate a cash register.
  • Proficiency in operating equipment like a hand jack and floor scrubber.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Capable of working independently and in a team environment.
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
