Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial member of the store, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and ensuring the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and issues to management.
  • Engage in inventory management and ensure accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
  • Follow company policies and uphold document security.
  • Complete assigned tasks.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Prompt and courteous customer service skills.
  • Efficient cash register operation.
  • Ability to operate equipment safely.
  • Adherence to cleaning standards.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
  • Compliance with alcohol handling regulations.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail experience is a plus.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
