Job Description
We are hiring a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure a top-notch customer shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, Professional Skills) consistently.
- Stock shelves, process customer purchases, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting and guiding customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, participate in inventory counts, and provide feedback on product quality and issues.
- Follow cash policies, uphold company procedures, and maintain security and confidentiality protocols.
- Perform general cleaning duties to uphold ALDI standards.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficient in operating cash registers and equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Capable of interpreting and applying company policies and procedures accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently.
- Compliance with state and local regulations on handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
