Job Description
We are hiring a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of our retail store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment to enhance the overall customer shopping experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professionalism in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and arrange merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Give feedback on inventory, scanning accuracy, and other store-related matters.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow company policies, maintain document security, and ensure data confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling skills.
- Capable of following cleaning standards and company guidelines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
- Compliance with state and local regulations concerning alcohol sales (if applicable).
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience equivalent to the necessary qualifications.
