Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service and maintaining the store's appearance. This position involves merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and well-organized.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, clean the store, and maintain neatly stocked shelves.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management team.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash policies, company procedures, and uphold security measures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and other equipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties according to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
