Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

Join our team as a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi. As a vital member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. You will collaborate with team members, communicate effectively, and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, assist shoppers, and communicate effectively with the team.
• Provide feedback on products, monitor inventory accuracy, and assist in inventory counts.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience beneficial.
• Understanding of retail operations through a combination of education and experience.
