Job Description

As a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store maintains its operational efficiency and high standards. From merchandising products to cashiering and providing exceptional customer service, you will collaborate with the ALDI team to enhance the shopping experience for all customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills outlined for the role.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Take inventory counts, monitor inventory accuracy, and follow cash handling procedures.
  • Adhere to company policies, uphold security and data confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and follow company policies.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail work experience is a plus.
