Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the store operates efficiently and customers receive exceptional service. Your role will involve merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assistance during shopping experiences.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, conduct store inventory counts, and report issues to management.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, upholding document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and friendly customer service.
- Proficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of meeting cleaning and organizational standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales (if applicable).
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
