Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to provide exceptional customer service. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $16.50 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Participate in inventory activities and adhere to cash handling policies
• Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register and equipment
• Perform cleaning duties to company standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions
• Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior retail experience is a plus
Equivalent combination of education and experience
