Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join ALDI, where you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining overall store cleanliness. You will play a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers by providing outstanding customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and comply with company procedures
- Perform assigned duties diligently
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash register and equipment
- Capability to interpret and apply company policies
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking
- Fulfill any state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages
