Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By collaborating with the Aldi team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall customer shopping experience and providing exceptional customer service.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate Aldi's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Conduct store inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
- Comply with company policies and procedures, ensuring confidentiality and security
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Proficiency in customer service and cash register operation
- Ability to operate store equipment and perform cleaning duties
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work independently and in a team setting
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with retail experience as a bonus
