Store Team Member Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a Store Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store's success by merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases and maintain a tidy store
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Follow company policies and ensure security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 18
- Ability to deliver courteous customer service
- Proficiency in cash register operations and equipment handling
- Experience in retail environment preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently
- Familiarity with alcoholic beverage regulations
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail work experience is advantageous
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
