Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. Collaborating with the Aldi team, you will exhibit exceptional customer service and ensure the store's overall success.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management
• Conduct store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Comply with company policies to maintain security and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Proficiency in operating equipment and performing cleaning tasks
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
