Job Description
Join our team as a Store Team Member at Aldi! As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers. Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $19.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Execute store tasks following ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Uphold company policies, security measures, and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
- Proficient in cashier operations and customer service
- Ability to operate store equipment and maintain cleanliness standards
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow instructions efficiently
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales (if applicable)
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience is an advantage
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
