Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Team Member, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will uphold our commitment to exceptional customer service.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, and assist customers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Perform store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and maintain security and confidentiality
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Customer service-oriented
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment
- Ability to follow policies, communicate effectively, and work both independently and in a team
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcohol
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
