Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Team Member, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of our store to ensure an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's values and competencies as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their needs.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with management.
- Report product feedback, inventory issues, and participate in inventory counts.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently or in a team environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
