Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI store. As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and company procedures.
- Comply with established company policies and maintain document security.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and equipment.
- Execute general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
