Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Assist customers with their shopping needs and provide exceptional service
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Maintain inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Operate cash registers and adhere to cash policies
- Uphold company policies and procedures while ensuring the security of data
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide courteous customer service
- Proficient in cash register operation and equipment handling
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Retail experience is a plus
