Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI store. As a Store Team Member, you will play a key role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. By working collaboratively with our team, you will uphold ALDI's high standards of customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
- Report inventory issues and provide feedback to management
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
