Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store meets high standards of customer service and operational excellence.

Position Type

• Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and collaborate effectively with team members
• Assist in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure store security and confidentiality

Physical Demands:

• Stock merchandise and perform various physical tasks
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and move around the store

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in customer service and cash register operation
• Ability to operate store equipment and maintain cleanliness standards
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Capable of working independently and in a team setting
• Meet state requirements for alcohol sales if applicable

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
