Job Description
We are looking for a talented Studio Designer to join our DIY Products team at Brewster Home Fashions LLC. As a Studio Designer, you will be responsible for developing original designs and creating artwork for our WallPops & Roomates brands. You will collaborate with our design and product teams to bring innovative DIY décor products to the market.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to create new DIY products.
- Manipulate purchased artwork to develop various DIY products like peel and stick wallpaper, decals, floor tile, and backsplash tiles.
- Work with external teams on exclusive product lines.
- Conduct trend research and contribute to trend forecasting.
- Modify final projects for printing compatibility.
- Ensure product quality by closely working with manufacturers.
- Support the team in creating samples and mock-ups.
- Update and create storyboards for design team reference.
- Assist in updating room set images for product launches.
- Collaborate with internal teams to set up/update SKUs, room sets, and packaging.
- Develop products for national accounts in coordination with the Sales Team.
Requirements
- 3-4 years' experience in graphics and/or surface design.
- BA in Graphics or surface design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Excel is advantageous.
- Passion for home décor or experience in the industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of printing techniques and protocols is a plus.
