Superintendent

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Superintendent to join our team at T.W. Frierson Contractor in Nashville, TN. As a Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in planning, directing, and coordinating commercial/industrial construction projects to ensure timely completion within budget and according to specifications. You will collaborate with various teams, subcontractors, and clients to guarantee project success and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee construction projects to ensure adherence to schedule, budget, and design specifications.
• Coordinate work activities with subcontractors and maintain open communication with all stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve design inefficiencies and safety hazards promptly.
• Supervise project staff and ensure productivity and quality standards are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in commercial construction, with at least 5 years as a Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, construction documents, and construction materials calculations.
• Excellent organizational, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Valid state-issued driver's license with a good driving record.
