Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Superintendent to join our team at Peckham Industries Inc. As a Superintendent, you will oversee milling and paving projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of milling and paving projects.
• Supervise field employees, order materials, and manage subcontractors.
• Coordinate with customers and sales personnel to ensure project completion according to quality and safety standards.
• Conduct site safety meetings and promote a safety-oriented culture.
• Engage with customers and inspectors to ensure project satisfaction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant construction experience.
• Extensive knowledge of construction operations and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaborative skills.
• Ability to read plans and specifications.
• Ability to make quick and thoughtful decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Other Details

• Travel required, including out-of-state and overnight stays.
• Work environment includes working in a dynamic setting, with significant night work on the interstate.
