Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Team Leader to join our Jack in the Box Store 7171 team. As the first-line operational supervisor, you will be responsible for training and leading team members to ensure the delivery of an exceptional guest experience. This includes maintaining quality in food preparation, meeting guest expectations, and upholding all JIB procedures and standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Candidates must have at least 6 months of experience at Jack in the Box and be 100% certified in all workstations for internal promotions, or possess 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail customer service setting.
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Applicants must be at least 18 years old, complete Team Leader training classes, and in specific locations, be ServSafe certified. Proficiency in English is required, with a possibility of needing another language based on restaurant location. Strong interpersonal skills, basic math abilities, adaptability to work with diverse individuals, analytical skills, organizational and planning capabilities, self-motivation, integrity, and basic computer knowledge are essential.
  • Physical Requirements: The role involves standing and walking for 90%-95% of the shift, moving freely in the restaurant, and being able to lift and carry 15-25 lbs. Listening to guest orders, operating a cash register, and reading video monitors are also part of the position.
