Therapeutic Activities Coordinator

Job Description

We are currently looking for a compassionate and innovative Therapeutic Activities Coordinator to join our team at Cassia's Redeemer Health Care Center located in Minneapolis. As a full-time position, you will be responsible for driving a 14-passenger bus, organizing recreational activities, and advocating for the well-being of our residents. This role requires creativity, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting the fullness of life for older adults in our care.

Responsibilities

• Drive and assist residents during outings.
• Plan and implement engaging recreation programs.
• Document activity attendance and resident involvement.
• Display a positive and respectful attitude towards residents and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident experiences.

Requirements

• Prior experience in implementing activity programs preferred.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact positively with others.
• Ability to address a variety of challenges faced by residents.
• Proficiency in computer and smart TV usage.
