Transplant RN Coordinator- Adult Heart

Job Description

We are looking for a Transplant RN Coordinator specializing in the care of solid organ transplant adult heart patients to join our team at the Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA). As a Transplant RN Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing advanced clinical management, consultation, education, and research to ensure top-quality care for our patient population. This position offers the opportunity to grow in clinical knowledge through research-based practices, training new staff members, and staying current with regulatory changes in UNOS and CMS.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nursing and three years of registered nurse experience.
• Transplant nursing experience preferred.
• Current South Carolina licensure or compact state required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) preferred.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in emergency situations.

Additional Requirements

The position involves physical requirements such as standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, bending, lifting, and more. Applicants must be able to perform these duties while maintaining sensory functions and dealing with stressful situations.
