Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Ultrasonographer to join Corewell Health on a full-time basis. In this role, you will perform accurate and efficient Mammography exams under the site designate leader, following established policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will include operating imaging equipment, obtaining high-quality images, ensuring patient safety, maintaining professionalism, and communicating effectively within the department.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality Mammography exams following proper verification procedures.
- Operate Mammography imaging equipment proficiently.
- Obtain high-quality images through appropriate patient positioning techniques.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Maintain professional development per ARRT requirements.
- Communicate effectively with administrative staff, medical personnel, and peers.
- Keep exam rooms clean and organized.
Requirements
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- 1-3 years of experience beyond staff radiographer level preferred.
- Certification by ARRT required, additional Mammography certification within 1 year of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
