Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Ultrasonographer to join our team at Corewell Health. In this role, you will perform basic diagnostic ultrasound examinations as prescribed by physicians, ensure proper documentation of findings, and provide essential patient care to support successful procedures.
Essential Functions
- Obtain comprehensive patient history and operate ultrasound equipment proficiently.
- Perform various diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
- Document quality images and assist physicians during procedures.
- Maintain a clean work environment, stock supplies, and report equipment issues.
- Support objectives set by lead ultrasonographer and adhere to regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field is required.
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Certifications in Sonography and Basic Life Support are necessary.
Location & Schedule
Primary Location: Watervliet Hospital, 400 Medical Park Dr, Watervliet
Department: Radiology - Watervliet
Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: Variable (United States of America)
Weekly Hours: 40
Work Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday
Weekend Frequency: On-call weekends
