Job Summary

This position involves performing basic diagnostic ultrasound examinations as prescribed by the physician and assisting with invasive procedures. The Ultrasonographer is responsible for providing excellent patient care and ensuring successful procedure completion.

Essential Functions

  • Obtain comprehensive patient history.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment competently for quality diagnostic studies.
  • Perform various diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
  • Document quality images and assist physicians during procedures.
  • Maintain a clean work environment and stock supplies.
  • Support objectives set by lead ultrasonographer and management.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Professional certifications in diagnostic medical sonography.
  • BLS certification required.

Primary Location: Watervliet Hospital - 400 Medical Park Dr - Watervliet.

Department Name: Radiology - Watervliet.

Employment Type: Full-time.

Shift: Variable (United States of America).
