Job Description
Corewell Health is seeking a skilled Ultrasonographer to join our Radiology team at Watervliet Hospital. As an Ultrasonographer, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, assist with invasive procedures, and ensure exceptional patient care throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Obtain detailed patient histories and operate ultrasound equipment proficiently to produce high-quality diagnostic studies.
- Perform various diagnostic ultrasound examinations following established protocols.
- Document quality images and assist physicians during procedures when necessary.
- Maintain a clean work environment, manage supplies, and notify management of equipment issues.
- Support team objectives and adhere to credentialing and competencies requirements.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in a related field required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Certification in relevant ultrasound specialties and Basic Life Support certification needed.
- Demonstrated auditory and visual capabilities essential for accurate ultrasound diagnostics.
Location & Schedule Details
- Primary Location: Watervliet Hospital - Watervliet, MI
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Shift: Variable (United States of America)
- Weekly Hours: 40
- Working Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, with on-call weekends.
