Job Description
Corewell Health is seeking a skilled Ultrasonographer to join our team in Watervliet. As an Ultrasonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations as prescribed by physicians, documenting findings, and assisting with invasive procedures. The ideal candidate will provide excellent patient care and ensure the success of procedures through accurate imaging and quality care.
Responsibilities
- Obtain comprehensive patient history and operate ultrasound equipment proficiently to meet established protocols.
- Perform various diagnostic ultrasound examinations as prescribed, documenting quality images and assisting physicians during procedures.
- Maintain a clean work environment, stock rooms with supplies, and notify management of equipment issues.
- Support objectives set by lead ultrasonographer, imaging specialist, and managers, and assist in credentialing processes.
Qualifications
- Required: Associate's Degree or equivalent in related field.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.
- Certifications: CRT-Sonographer (S), CRT-Abdomen (AB), CRT-Ob/Gyn (OB), CRT-Vascular Technologist (VT), CRT-Vascular Sonographer (VS), CRT-Breast Sonographer (BS), CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS).
Location and Schedule
- Primary Location: Watervliet Hospital, 400 Medical Park Dr, Watervliet.
- Department: Radiology - Watervliet.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Shift: Variable (United States of America).
- Weekly Hours: 40.
- Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with on-call weekends.
