GENERAL SUMMARY:
Corewell Health is seeking an Ultrasonographer to perform accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams under the site-designated leader. As an Ultrasonographer, you will utilize appropriate imaging equipment, demonstrate good clinical skills, and provide the best possible images for interpretation while following the Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Verifies patient identification and physician order.
- Performs Ultrasound and related patient care procedures using age-appropriate methods.
- Operates ultrasound imaging equipment proficiently and ensures quality control.
- Monitors patients during procedures to ensure safety.
STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent.
- Registered by American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registry eligible.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers required.
