Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Ultrasonographer to join Corewell Health as a full-time team member. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams under the site designate leader's guidance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical skills, provide exceptional patient care, and adhere to Corewell Health's commitment to Patient and Family Centered Care.
Essential Duties
- Verify patient identification and physician orders.
- Provide patient education before exams.
- Perform Ultrasound procedures efficiently and safely.
- Monitor patients during procedures for safety.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper stocking of exam rooms.
- Utilize hospital computer systems effectively.
- Participate in training new staff and students.
Standard Qualifications
- Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent.
- Registered by American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registry eligible.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
