Job Description
Join Corewell Health as a Full-Time Ultrasonographer at our Watervliet Hospital location. As an Ultrasonographer, you will conduct basic diagnostic ultrasound examinations, assist with invasive procedures, and deliver exceptional patient care. This position requires operating ultrasound equipment proficiently, documenting findings accurately, and collaborating with healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Obtain detailed patient histories for comprehensive assessments.
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams following established protocols.
- Document quality images and assist during invasive procedures.
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure equipment functionality.
- Support lead ultrasonographer, imaging specialist, and management objectives.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in related field required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Certifications: CRT-Sonographer (S), CRT-Abdomen (AB), CRT-Ob/Gyn (OB), CRT-Vascular Technologist (VT), CRT-Vascular Sonographer (VS), CRT-Breast Sonographer (BS), CRT-Breast (BR), CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Experience with Doppler, vascular studies, and performance evaluations.
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior staff.
