Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Ultrasonographer to join Corewell Health as part of our Radiology department in Watervliet. As an Ultrasonographer, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, assist with procedures, and ensure the quality of images and patient care during the process.
Responsibilities
- Obtain comprehensive patient history and operate ultrasound equipment competently.
- Perform various diagnostic ultrasound examinations as prescribed.
- Document quality images, assist physicians during procedures, and maintain a clean work environment.
- Support objectives set by lead ultrasonographer and adhere to regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in related field required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- CRT-Sonographer certification upon hire required.
- Experience in abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular sonography preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Location & Schedule
- Primary Location: Watervliet Hospital.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Shift: Variable with on-call weekends.
- Weekly Scheduled Hours: 40, Monday to Friday.
- Hours of Work: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
