General Summary
Corewell Health is seeking a dedicated Ultrasonographer to perform accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams under the guidance of site leadership. The position requires utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, clinical skills, and providing the best possible images for interpretation while upholding our philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.
Essential Duties
- Verify patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Proficiently operate ultrasound imaging equipment and perform quality control testing.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Review ultrasound images with Radiologist as required.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper stocking of exam rooms.
Standard Qualifications
To perform this role successfully, candidates must have graduated from a Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent. Additionally, certification from ARDMS or eligibility is required, with Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers essential.
