Job Description: VP, Late Development Team Lead, Oncology
Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a dynamic VP, Late Development Team Lead for our Oncology division. As a critical leader in the organization, the VP will be responsible for driving the late product lifecycle of a product or platform of products with a focus on innovation and patient-centric solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and provide strategic direction to the Late Development Team for global product strategy execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize value for patients through risk, timelines, cost, and revenue balance.
- Develop global Integrated Product Development Plans (iPDPs) for governance approval and oversee contributions for regulatory filings.
- Mentor team members, set clear expectations, and optimize performance.
- Ensure timely escalation of risks and issues to senior leaders and governance committees.
Requirements
- +15 years of global multi-disciplinary drug development experience in pharma/biotech industry.
- Proven track record in balancing program risks with speed and innovation.
- Experience in late phase Solid Tumor Oncology drug development and regulatory submissions.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required.
