Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a VP, Late Development Team Lead, Oncology to play a critical role in late product lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership to progress products from proof of concept to approval, balancing deep science, innovation, and regulatory considerations. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing global product development opportunities, and fostering alliances with external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional Late Development Teams in product strategy and execution.
• Develop global Integrated Product Development Plans and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide guidance to functional matrix teams for effective execution of development plans.
• Mentor team members and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team.
• Manage project budget, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for successful product development.

Requirements

• +15 years of global biopharmaceutical industry experience in drug development.
• Demonstrated success in strategic leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in late-phase Solid Tumor Oncology drug development and regulatory submissions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make objective decisions.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities across diverse teams.

Educational Requirement

Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required.
