1st Shift Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join the Aldi team. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, organizing merchandise, and preparing shipments in a warehouse setting. The position offers a starting wage of $23.75 per hour and requires the ability to work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise based on product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to improve processes.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Demonstrated competence in quality, safety, and collaboration.
• Positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies with efficiency.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise within the warehouse and prepare for deliveries.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
