Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Monitor inventory, provide feedback on products, and report any issues
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Ensure compliance with company policies while upholding security and confidentiality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment
- Capability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Organizational skills with attention to detail
- Prior retail experience preferred
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous work experience in a retail environment is beneficial
