1st Shift Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join our team at Aldi, a company dedicated to ensuring products reach our stores efficiently. As a part-time role with fewer than 30 hours per week, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering stock, maintaining warehouse standards, and contributing to a collaborative environment. The starting wage for this position is $23.75 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain warehouse cleanliness.
• Collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Ensure product quality, safety, and sanitation standards.

Job Qualifications

You must be 18 years or older to apply. Key competencies include conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency. Basic arithmetic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team setting are essential.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

Frequent lifting of products up to 45 pounds, movement of merchandise, standing, bending, and operating equipment in various temperatures.
