Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and providing exceptional customer service. Your role will directly impact the shopping experience of our customers and contribute to the overall success of our store.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to enhance operations.
  • Participate in store inventory counts and maintain accuracy in inventory management.
  • Adhere to cash policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Follow company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of a cash register.
  • Safe and proper use of equipment.
  • Proficiency in general cleaning duties.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Capability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
  • Compliance with state and local regulations for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Prior retail experience (preferred).
  • Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
