Job Description

Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time (32-40 hours per week)
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Assist customers, communicate effectively with team members and management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues
- Contribute to store inventory management and adhere to cash handling procedures
- Follow company policies with a focus on document security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Proficient in customer service and operating a cash register
- Capable of using equipment like hand jacks, scrubbers, and balers
- Ability to interpret and implement company policies
- Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Meet state requirements for alcohol handling and sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is advantageous
- A blend of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
