Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, customers are assisted effectively, and the shopping experience is exceptional. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, stocking shelves, providing outstanding customer service, and collaborating with team members to maintain store standards.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) on a consistent basis.
- Process customer purchases, maintain clean store premises, and arrange merchandise displays neatly.
- Provide exceptional service to customers, guiding them through their shopping journey.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, monitor inventory accuracy, and assist in store inventory counts.
- Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and uphold security protocols.
- Complete other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of maintaining cleanliness according to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Adept at working independently and in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is beneficial.
