Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various duties including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide exceptional customer service and enhance the overall shopping experience. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to uphold company standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professional skills
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Conduct store inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
- Comply with company policies and procedures while ensuring data confidentiality
- Perform physical tasks such as stocking and lifting merchandise
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Prior retail experience preferred
