Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness in the store to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and support daily operations.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
- Comply with company policies and uphold document security and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
- Safely operate store equipment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
