Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring our store is well-organized and that customers have a pleasant shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness in the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professional skills in your daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean store environment, and stock shelves neatly.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
• Conduct store inventory counts, adhere to cash policies, and comply with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register efficiently.
• Capable of safely using equipment like hand jacks, scrubbers, and balers.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
