Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) outlined for the role.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
  • Comply with company policies while upholding document security and confidentiality.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • High school diploma preferred, with retail experience being advantageous.
