Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store activities including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your focus will be on providing exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Assist customers with a friendly approach and effective communication.
- Collaborate with team members and report feedback to management.
- Conduct store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and uphold security measures.
- Perform physical tasks such as stocking merchandise and general store upkeep.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Work experience in a retail environment is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- High School Diploma or equivalent education preferred.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
