Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join the ALDI team. As a Store Team Member, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness in the store to provide an exceptional shopping experience for customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professional skills
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and stock shelves
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
• Follow company policies and procedures while upholding security standards
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient cash register operation
• Operate equipment as required
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies
• Excellent communication skills
• Work well independently and in a team
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multi-task effectively
• Meet state and local requirements for selling alcohol

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience advantageous
• A combination of education and experience will be considered
